Caribbean Polytechnic Institute Announces EC-Council's Certified Cybersecurity Technician Scholarship Programme in Jamaica and the Wider Caribbean
Kingston, February 4, 2025: Caribbean Polytechnic Institute (CPI) is pleased to announce its role in facilitating access to the EC-Council Certified Cybersecurity Technician (C|CT) Scholarship Program for individuals in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean. This landmark initiative is part of EC-Council's $7 million global effort to address the cybersecurity skills gap and provides a significant opportunity for aspiring cybersecurity professionals.

The EC-Council C|CT Scholarship Program is designed to provide participants with foundational skills across multiple cybersecurity domains, including ethical hacking, network security, digital forensics, and security operations.
Program Highlights:
- Comprehensive Curriculum: Official e-Courseware covering 22 immersive modules.
- Extensive Learning Hours: 200 hours of premium learning.
- Hands-On Experience: 85 labs on a live Cyber Range, utilizing real attack systems.
- Critical Thinking Challenges: Capture the Flag (CTF) style exercises.
- Certification Exam: Proctored exam voucher for the performance-based exam.
- In-Depth Study Materials: 2,400 pages of content, including 900 pages of lab guides.
- Financial Support: The scholarship covers complete fees for instruction, e-courseware, practical hands-on labs, critical thinking challenges, and live Cyber Range activities. Awardees are responsible for a $199 fee covering certification exam proctoring and technology.
